Recent performances have included world premieres of music by Firehead composers Frederick Frahm, Nicholas Wibberley and Huw Morgan.  Robin's new recording of European Renaissance organ music (on the 1558 Zefferini organ of Florence Abbey) is now available to buy on the Pettirosso label.

Come and Sing - Messiah

Join Ipswich Choral Society to sing Handel's magnificent Messiah.

Rehearsal 12noon - 2.30pm followed by a public performance accompanied by players from Vivace! period instrument ensemble, and soloists including graduates from the Royal Academy of Music.

Automatronic composition weekend, Corpus Christi Cambridge

Members of the Automatronic collective lead workshops with composition and performance students from Corpus and other Cambridge colleges as they explore the possibilities of mixing live and electronic sound.

The weekend will feature a public concert, in a very relaxed exploratory atmosphere, on Saturday 4th November in the McCrum lecture theatre.  More details will be available here in due course.

In a giant project ICS together with musicians, dancers, actors and many others present an evening commemorating the end of the Great War.  Featuring local stories of those affected, both on the battle field and back at home.  

The evening will include songs of the time and new compositions, and conclude with a performance of Howard Goodall's Requiem:   'Eternal Light'
