Robin accompanies the Thanet Chamber Choir in a concert of Christmas music.
Conducted by Peter Futcher in the charming church of St Nicholas-at-Wade.
Robin (harpsichord) joins Lisete da Silva Bull (flute and recorders), Henrik Persson (viola da gamba and cello), and Walter Reiter (violin) for another concert in the extraordinary ballroom of the Grand Hotel, Folkestone.
In their third concert together the ensemble look to Baroque France for inspiration (following from Germany and Italy). Come along for an afternoon of beautiful music and stunning playing.
Cantate are joined by an selected ensemble of professional musicians to perform two beautiful and thought provoking works: Mozart’s Requiem mass and Tom Randle’s ‘The Affirming Flame’.
Randle wrote his work for Ipswich Choral Society in 2019, and in this concert Cantate premiere a specially prepared reduced score version. The soloists who performed in the Snape Maltings Premiere, Gillian Keith and Trevor Bowes, return to perform with Cantate again.
Robin plays harpsichord with Lisete da Silva Bull on Baroque Flute. This programme explores the historic meeting of JS Bach, CPE Bach, JJ Quantz and Frederick the Great - a pivotal point in music history.

Robin plays harpsichord with the Folkestone Baroque Ensemble, this time in a feast of music by Vivaldi. Robin plays J.S. Bach’s keyboard arrangement of Marcello’s Oboe concerto in d minor.

Robin returns to play organ in the JAM on the Marsh Festival in an exciting concert with the choir of Selwyn College Cambridge and Onyx Brass conducted by Sarah MacDonald.
Including world premieres by Dani Howard and Steve Richer and The Farthest Shore by Paul Mealor.
Robin accompanies the choir of Junior King’s School Canterbury on their concert tour to Germany and the Netherlands.

Singer-Composer Helgi Ingvarsson sings his own magical and transporting songs inspired by the nature and mythology of his home country, Iceland. Accompanied on the piano by Robin. All in the stunning performance space of the iconic St Pancras Hotel clock tower.
Robin conducts Cantate with period instrumentalists from Vivace! in a programme of opera, cantata and church music from London’s vibrant 18th century musical world.

Music to celebrate the newly restored Norman & Beard organ of St Mary’s church, Cheveley. Robin will perform a mixed programme to show off the organ to it’s very best, with lots for everyone to enjoy.
The evening starts at 6.30pm with drinks and a chance to meet Robin, and then the concert at 7pm will last approximately 90 minutes without interval. Robin will introduce the music and the organ during the concert, and audience can watch everything projected onto a large screen.
This programme includes: Handel “Arrival of the Queen of Sheba”, Largo from the New World Symphony, Widor Toccata from Symphony No.5, and much more.
Robin gives a short solo recital, which follows on from choral evensong. Entrance is free with a retiring collection.
This concert includes the World Premiere of Frederick Frahm’s Babbitt Sonata. This three-movement work is inspired by ‘Babbitt’ written by Sinclair Lewis in 1922.
Also, Dietrich Buxtehude’s extended choral prelude on “Nun Freut Euch, Lieben Christen Gmein” BuxWV 210, and Alexandre Guilmant’s March on a theme of Handel “Lift up your heads”.

Robin accompanies singers from The King’s School Canterbury on the fabulous Klais organ in a concert performance of Maurice Duruflé’s sublime Requiem, conducted by William Bersey, Head of Music at the school.
Duruflé sets the Gregorian chant for the Requiem mass and weaves it into a rich and evocative soundscape for contemplation and prayer.
Robin teaches organ at The King’s School Canterbury, and regularly plays for school services in Canterbury Cathedral.
Robin accompanies the City of Canterbury Chamber Choir in two favourite French settings of the Requiem, by Maurice Duruflé and Gabriel Fauré, conducted by Peter Futcher

Robin conducts Cantate in a programme inspired by the Paris Olympics, with music from around the world.
Robin, with organ pupils from Woodbridge school and newly appointed Director of Music of St Mary’s James Davy, give a special organ concert at St Mary’s Woodbridge. The evening starts with drinks at 7pm, followed by an hour of music at 7.30pm. Entry is free, and you are invited to donate generously to the new Organ Prize fund for Woodbridge School, to promote and encourage organ study in the school.
Music will include Messaien, Bach, Arvo Pärt and Holst and plenty more.
